You are welcome, pennsy ! :) The Luau sounded like fun ! That's nice how you-all visited the Battleship Missouri and the Pearl Harbor memorial.

That's great how Ken and Jenn are honeymooning in Maoi ! :)

Thanks again, and I just got corrected, it is Maui. Might as well spell it correctlyl. Spent all of our time on the Big Island, Hawaii itself. Honolulu is a nice town, something like LA or NY. Lots of people, shops, etc. You have to get out of town to see what the scenery looks like. First thing you notice is the ocean all around, and how the color changes as you get to the beach. Deep blue to green, to white. The bottom must be of various depths. I will say this, the water was cold, but you gradually got used to it. Overall, I will agree with those around me on the plane, nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there. :km:

Empty nest syndrome is quite correct. They are both back from their honeymoon on Maui, and back to work in Brentwood, CA. And now all of my kids are married and gone from the nest. First thing to do is clean house and either save mementos of the kids or offer them to the kids, or just chuck them. Has to be done. Yup, I now have a spare room. I have already put a spare TV in it. LOL :1::

Would you believe the TV in the bedroom just went belly up ? It is one of the first flat panel LCD 20 inch TV's. Checked the date I bought it, for 800 bucks, and that was 8 years ago. Is that normal for an LCD TV ? Come morning I will be at COSTCO to check out the new ones. Friend told me to return the one that went belly up for credit. COSTCO does that. The on off power switch goes from on to off back and forth, after the unit warms up, and keeps cycling that way.

LOL^^I remember that too! My 'spare room' is now my computer and craft/sewing room AND a guest room...I offered most of their 'stuff' to them and still have a few things... but the last thing I parted with was their beloved baby books...THAT took me the most time to finally give up...We spent many hours going through them and letting them ask me questions and look at pix...I think it meant more to me than it did to them but hey, when I'm gone, they will have them and the 'sweet' memories we created! :1::

We are sorry to hear that the TV in your bedroom isn't working anymore, pennsy. :( We hope that you-all can get a new one at COSTCO tomorrow. That's good how you can return the old TV that isn't working anymore for credit at COSTCO. Recently, we had to get a new TV for our den area (a Toshiba 32-inch HDTV).
