Banners/avatars/icons?

Post by bailey »

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I couldn't find any info on the subject.

What are the rules here as far as banner size and such? Or no banners at all?

Thanks. :D

Do you mean signatures?
We haven't decided yet so let's say
200 x200 max for avatars(standard is 100x100)
and signatures 300x200
We'll work it out soon.
Too big slows the board down and too little sucks.(cause Joan is blind and then has to use binoculars to read the avatars)

Yep, that's what I meant. :)

300 x 200. Cool, thanks. ITA -- huge stuff sucks for dial up folks esp. and no sigs make the place too boring. :)

I think I got it. You use the image code not the http: code and it doesn't show on your older post, just your newer ones. From what I can tell.

But, now I think mine is too big. Well, off to resize. lol

Edited to say: Joan I can see your banner now.

And, mine is 320 x 160.... it won't let me make it smaller without going to 100 x 100 -- can I get away with those 20 pixels, or do y'all want me to find a new siggy?

Yep, I made it. I'm trying to be more colorful lately. :) Thank you for the compliment.

Hmm... well I do know how to resize in photoshop, I just wasn't sure how to get my image back into photoshop. I hadn't saved it there, Because I have like two million pictures on my computer and it's about to blow up. lol I guess you just saved it from the web and took it to photoshop just like you would any other pic huh? Sorry, I'm not thinking straight this weekend. :) (Stupid graveyard shift.)
